Nick's father is Amerisnitha Arvanitis. His Mother is. Sideris Arvanitis.

He was educated prior to coming to America, probably through high school.

Nick was a restauranteur: He worked in restaurants and owned restaurants in Boston and Lancaster, as well as in Newport, RI. Some of the names of the restaurants were: Rhode Island Lunch, Narragansett Lunch (on the Narragansett Bay), Satellite Restaurant, and the High Chef.

Nick could play the mandolin and enjoyed singing.

Nick's cause of death was a heart attack. Nick was brought from Newport to Lancaster where he wanted to die and be buried. Nick was not in Lancaster during a photography session with the entire (at that time) Mastros family, so his picture was added from another photo.

He married Mary Mastros on June 27th, 1937 in a double ceremony with her sister Sophie. Nicholas and Mary didn't have any children.

Nick died on November 1st, 1970 at the age of 68.  He was laid to rest at the Riverview Cemetery, South Duke Street, Lancaster, PA.
