Lawrence Gerald Metz was born on August 21st 1951 at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA.

His father is Howard Long Metz, his mother is Regina Heisler Metz, and his step mother is Loraine Long Metz.

Larry graduated from Conestoga Valley High School, Class of '69.

Larry was in the US Army, 7th Engineers. Attained the rank of Spec 4 and served in Germany.

Employed by C.B. Dombach & Son for over 25 years. He was a manager of manufacturing awnings, tent work and and reupholstering. In July, 1994, Larry and two other partners bought the business. It is now named T.M.U., Inc., doing business as C.B. Dombach.

Larry played football and participated in wrestling in high school. He enjoys sports on TV and often travels to Philadelphia and Hershey to watch sporting events. He has coached the 'C' team of the MYAA (Mountville Youth Athletic Assn.) football for many years. He also devotes much time to foreign exchange students as a community counselor.

Larry married Kathleen Mastros on January 25th 1975. Larry and Kathy had 3 children Tara, Jevin and Laura and adopted another, Boris Rakita.
